Opportunity:
RN - Registered Nurse
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts for 8-week contract assignment
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (except during orientation week and holidays when unit is closed)
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation as needed
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of absence
• Ability to float to Peabody Manor (40 miles away) for rehab and LTC patients
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Work with 20-bed long term care unit and 17-bed rehab unit
• RN patient ratio of 1:17-20 (may be only 1 RN from midnight to 3:30 PM at times)
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license and AHA BLS
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required
• Recent long-term care experience required (post-acute and LTC)
• Travel experience strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred and Pyxis highly preferred
• Must be skilled in wound care, following MD orders, IV insertion, and blood draws
• Black scrubs required
• 5-day orientation (1 day onboarding and 4 shifts with preceptor)
