A recognizedhealth services organization is currently seeking a licensedAnesthesiologist / Pain Medicine Physician to join one of their practices in Northern New Jersey.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Anesthesiology / Pain Medicine

- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Patient Volume: 3 to 4 per day
Responsibilities:TheAnesthesiologist / Pain Medicine Physician will:
- Assess patients before surgery to determine the best anesthesia plan
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients dealing with chronic pain
- Administer various types of anesthesia, including general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and local anesthesia
- Monitor the patient's vital signs, adjust anesthesia levels as needed, and ensure the patient's comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Provide immediate postoperative pain relief through techniques such as epidural analgesia, nerve blocks, or intravenous medications
- Evaluate patients' medical histories, perform physical examinations, and may order diagnostic tests to identify the underlying causes of chronic pain
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New Jersey
- Board Eligible / Certified in Anesthesiology and/or Pain Medicine
- Experience performing Pain Management procedures
Desired Skills:- Pain Fellowship certified
- Experience with placing nerve stimulators
