This position is for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to work full-time at Bay Area Hospital and Prefontaine Cardiovascular Clinic, providing inpatient and outpatient cardiac care. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests such as EKGs and echocardiograms, managing cardiac conditions, supervising rehab plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Role: Non-Invasive Cardiologist
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient (hospital + clinic)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Shared call (Echo rotation, including weekend reading)
Practice Location:
Bay Area Hospital (127-bed, Level III Trauma Center)
Prefontaine Cardiovascular Clinic
Perform and interpret:
EKGs, Echocardiograms, Stress Tests, Nuclear Imaging
Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Cardiac Monitoring
Cardioversion
Provide:
Evaluation and management of cardiac conditions
Supervision of cardiac rehab plans
Outreach to nearby critical access hospitals
Patient and family education
Collaborate with:
Internal medicine, hospitalists, cardiology, and other specialties
Maintain timely documentation in EMR
Participate in meetings and clinical policy development
Stay current with CME and board certification standards

NP/PA support
Average 10-15 patients/day
Large primary care and community referral base

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive)
Nuclear and Echo Certification strongly preferred
Clean malpractice and background history required
NPDB Self-Query Report required
Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
Local residency required - relocation support available
