Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position with night shifts and every other weekend required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
- Provides care to laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns
- Night shifts are 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend coverage is required
- Floating is limited to within Women’s and Infants units and may occasionally include Post-Partum or Ante-Partum areas
- Block scheduling may be considered depending on unit needs
- No on-call requirements
- Must discuss any requested time off at the time of interview
- First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
- Two professional references are needed for consideration
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Labor and Delivery
- AWHONN fetal monitoring intermediate course required
- Current certifications in NRP and ACLS required
