RCM Health Care Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented person to oversee and coordinate the scheduling of school personnel across the state of Hawaii. The CSS will play a critical role in ensuring that schools are staffed with qualified professionals, managing daily scheduling needs, resolving conflicts, and maintaining strong communication between school districts, nurses, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Coordination:
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and long-term nurse schedules for multiple districts across Hawaii.
- Ensure all shifts are properly staffed, proactively addressing any scheduling gaps or last-minute changes.
- Coordinate coverage for call-outs, vacations, and unplanned absences.
- Work closely with school administrators and nursing staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for school professionals regarding schedule assignments and changes.
- Communicate schedule confirmations, updates, and policies to employees and school district representatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with school leadership to ensure alignment with district needs.
- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.
- Identify and implement best practices to improve scheduling efficiency and reduce last-minute coverage issues.
- Utilize scheduling software and tools to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.
- Monitor staffing trends and recommend solutions to optimize nurse placement and utilization.
- Experience in scheduling, coordination, or workforce management, preferably in healthcare or education settings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage complex schedules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with school administrators and school professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes with ease.
- Proficiency in scheduling software, Microsoft, Google and database management.
- Familiarity with Hawaii’s school system and staffing regulations is a plus.
