Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Bay City, MIJoin a vibrant healthcare facility in Bay City, Michigan, where we are currently seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine physician. Job Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Conduct patient assessments and diagnose conditions effectively.
- Perform necessary procedures such as suturing, EKG interpretation, and central line placement.
- Collaborate with APPs and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize Cerner EHR for documentation and management of patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and orientation, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 80 patients per day, providing timely and compassionate care.
Qualifications:- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (No Board Eligible).
- Minimum of 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience.
- Current Michigan medical license (required at time of clearance).
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications (required).
- Clean background for quick credentialing.
- Must be local to the Bay City area.
License and Certification Requirements:- Active Michigan medical license.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required; ATLS for FM/IM applicants.
