Opportunity Details
Medicus has partnered with a facility in central Mississippi that has a contract assignment for a physician to assist with Emergency Medicine coverage.
Assignment Details:
- Shifts: Day, night, or swing shifts
- Schedule: Minimum of 5 shifts per month
- Patient Volume: ~9-11 per day shift, lower volume at night
- 16 total beds, 8 monitored beds
- Trauma cases are shipped out
- Intubation skills required
- Support Staff: Additional physicians, NPs, and nursing staff
- Subspecialty Support: Laboratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
- Accepting residencies in emergency medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or general surgery
- Any state license accepted
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
