Hospital-employed group seeks additional Internal Medicine residency trained physicians to join a robust, rapidly growing practice as a Hospitalist Opportunity Highlights Join an 420-bed regional referral center in Dothan, Alabama and it manages its own Hospitalist program Provide coverage for unassigned patients who present to ED requiring inpatient care, care for transfers, and in hospital consults Admit and co-manage with intensivist support adult patients in critical care no procedures required 24/7 pulm/critical care support for all CC admissions unit24 hour subspecialty support available for all specialties including presence of in house radiology physician No call required The current practice includes more than 30 full-time, board-certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist physicians. Daily, 12-14 physicians work the 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shift and 2 physicians will each have an IM resident to provide care during the 7 p.m. 7 a.m. shift. Daytime Hospitalists work a 7 on/7 off schedule and Nocturnists work 12 shifts per month with flexible, individualized scheduling.
