Job Title: Locum Physician - Neurology
Join a reputable healthcare facility in Jackson, Michigan, as a full-time Neurologist! This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic neurology clinic that provides high-quality care for both adult and pediatric patients. The practice currently experiences a vacancy and is looking for a dedicated physician to step in as soon as credentialing is complete. The facility is equipped with onsite lab, X-ray facilities, and a dedicated team of medical support staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive neurological care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Manage a patient load of 16-18 patients per day.
- Perform required procedures including Radiologic Exam Interpretation, EMG, and Botulinum Toxin Administration (Botox).
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with a team of three neurologists and various support staff.
- Utilize the Epic documentation system/EMR for patient records.
- Maintain compliance with medical regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified in Neurology (required).
- Experience in outpatient neurology preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid Michigan medical license (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- Clean background preferred.
