Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is currently recruiting a Trauma & Acute Care PA or AGACNP, to join our growing Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (TACS) service line. This opportunity is located at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, a verified adult ACS-COT Level I trauma center.

Practice Overview
- NGMC Gainesville: 700-bed, multi-state regional referral, Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Join 7 double-boarded trauma/acute care surgeons + 4 orthopedic traumatologists.
- 24-hour in-house APP coverage (11 APP providers).
- 16-bed surgical/trauma ICU with daily multi-disciplinary rounds.
- 32-bed dedicated TACS unit.
- New state of the art ED with six trauma bays.
- 227,000+ ED visits annually (153,000 at Gainesville campus).
- 3,200+ annual trauma patients in TQIP registry.
- 2,400+ Acute Care Surgery cases annually.
- Home to an ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency Program.
Candidate Requirements
- Acute Care Certification (ACNP) required for NPs/Board Certification via NCCPA for Physician Assistants.
- ACLS/BLS
- Strong team-oriented mindset and commitment to growth
- Willingness to participate in outreach to rural hospitals and EMS partners
