Job Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Valhalla, NY. The RN will provide post-anesthesia care for patients in the PACU/Recovery Room, ensuring safe recovery and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the PACU/Recovery Room following surgery
Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond to post-operative complications
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the healthcare team
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility standards
Support patient and family education and comfort during recovery
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
