Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and strong floating abilities for night or day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Position based in an inpatient hospital ICU setting
• Must float to all inpatient units including ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg
• Night shift: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, every other weekend required
• Day shift available: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be willing to float between ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg units as needed
• Return staff policy requires at least 1 year since previous assignment as a traveler
• Only one holiday off will be approved during the contract
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• 4 years of RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS
• Experience with ICU and floating to multiple hospital units needed
