Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care position in Illinois, requiring a current IL RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a skilled nursing and long term care setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation is required
• Opportunities to pick up additional hours are available
• Provide patient care by performing treatments and administering medications according to established protocols
• Monitor and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments
• Assist in implementing and documenting patient care plans
• Identify and appropriately respond to emergency situations within scope of practice
• Instruct patients in self-care as directed by care plans
• Adhere to established nursing and hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a similar setting required
• Current BLS certification required
