Job DescriptionThis position is for a Registered Nurse in an Adaptive Acuity Unit. The nurse will occasionally provide Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care with a 3:1 patient ratio. Experience with IV drips is required, and the care responsibilities are non-negotiable. 48-hour availability will not be considered for this need, and holiday requests will also not be entertained.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care in an Adaptive Acuity Unit, occasionally including PCU responsibilities.
- Administer IV drips and other medications as prescribed.
- Comply with floating policies and provide care within the scope of practice across inpatient units.
- Minimum of 2 years of current medical-surgical/telemetry experience.
- Charge nurse experience preferred.
- Strongly required PCU and IV drip experience.
- ICU experience is strongly preferred.
- Must have at least 3 months of previous travel nursing experience.
- Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications are mandatory.
- Must possess a valid Vermont state nursing license.
