The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under supervision to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses. This role requires formal training or equivalent experience in diagnostic ultrasound, along with national certification within one year of hire. The position offers comprehensive benefits, may require on-call work, and is based at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.
Description
Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Supervisor, Manager or Director, perform ultrasound procedures to assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease.

This position will require someone to work on-call as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Course study in diagnostic ultrasound, or equivalent education/ experience.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 1 year of hire, Or
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography within 1 year of hire, Or
- New Mexico Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program License upon hire - if practicing within this state.
Preferred Qualification:
- 1 year experience as an Ultra sonographer.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
