Conduct student dental evaluations as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Act as a clinical resource to assist Nursing Services Staff in assessing students dental conditions. Provide referrals and participate in individual student conferences in coordination with Nursing Services Staff, as needed. Encourage parents and students to obtain routine dental examinations from licensed dental providers. Support and advise on the development of school oral health services and report on dental services to the School Board, in accordance with Board policies and Department of Health regulations.
