Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide high-quality care to adult patients experiencing a variety of medical emergencies. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Conduct triage and manage patients with various emergency diagnoses.
- Utilize advanced equipment and interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Document all patient care accurately using EPIC charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Active New York Single State RN license required (not Compact).
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency care.
- Proven ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage acute emergencies.
- Prior experience with IV therapy, including blood product administration and central line care.
