- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Every third weekend | Every other holiday
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU setting
- Monitor and assess patient condition, including vitals, lab results, and overall stability
- Administer medications, IV drips, infusions, and blood products as ordered
- Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and critical care equipment
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Respond promptly to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions as needed
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in Meditech
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment, care plans, and recovery expectations
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations
- Support unit workflow and assist team members as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- ACLS & BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience – Required
- Meditech Experience – Required
