Paraprofessional (School-Based)
Location: Beverly Hills, CA
Compensation: $23–$27/hr (based on experience and skill set)
Schedule: Full-time; hours vary depending on student age group
We are hiring school-based Paraprofessionals in the Beverly Hills area to support students with academic, behavioral, and personal care needs. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students across various grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of student IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Assist with classroom instruction, behavior management, and daily routines
- Accurately collect and report behavioral and academic data
- Use CPI de-escalation techniques when necessary for safety
- Provide hands-on support including toileting and diapering, as needed
- Engage with students across settings (classroom, playground, transitions)
Qualifications:
- Must have one of the following:
- A passing score on the Paraprofessional Exam
- At least 48 college credit hours
- An associate degree or higher
- Open and comfortable with toileting/diapering responsibilities
- Previous experience in special education or behavioral settings is a plus
