Opportunity:
Full-time Pathologists Assistant opportunity supporting surgical pathology and postmortem services in a collaborative, quality-focused laboratory environment with regular weekday hours and after-hours call rotation.
Details:
Schedule: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week (hours may vary) with after-hours call coverage
Accession and evaluate surgical pathology specimens to ensure accurate case processing
Obtain clinical history and biological specimens for diagnostic testing
Perform gross dissection, tissue preparation, tumor triage, photography, and special procedures
Assist with autopsy preparation, performance, and documentation
Maintain pathology reports, protocols, slides, and coding for accurate records
Participate in quality management initiatives and case troubleshooting
Support department operations through staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
Required qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Laboratory Science
Graduate of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists Assistant program
ASCP or state licensure CE requirements maintained
Ability to pass color discrimination testing

Compensation:
$112,000-$135,000 D.O.E
