Job DescriptionThe Obstetrical Nurse Navigator serves as a clinical liaison for obstetrical patients entering the hospital. The primary role involves educating patients and their families on the labor and delivery process, addressing specific patient needs, and preparing them for the birthing experience.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
- Address individual patient needs and concerns to prepare them for the birthing experience.
- Coordinate Parent/Sibling classes offered through the hospital.
- BSN preferred.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certificate.
- License to submit is required.
