Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing facility setting with both inpatient and outpatient patient care responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Primarily SNF/acute swing bed coverage at a hospital setting with occasional outpatient duties
- One 8-hour day per week covering outpatient/acute split at a second hospital
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM at main location and 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM at second location
- Patient caseload ranges from 6-10 per 8 hours at main facility and 8-12 per day at secondary facility
- One-on-one patient care including orthopedic, gait/balance, post-surgical, aquatic therapy, and neuro cases
- Provide one-on-one patient care in both skilled nursing and outpatient settings
- Will work in a multidisciplinary environment with a variety of patient diagnoses
- Role includes both acute rehabilitation and outpatient therapy responsibilities
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver’s license and Social Security Number required for consideration
