Position: Nurse Practitioner Outpatient Oncology
Start Date: As soon as possible
Schedule: Ongoing locum coverage Sunday Saturday workweek
Call: 1:3 or 1:4 rotation

Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with recent outpatient oncology background to provide follow-up care for solid tumor patients on active treatment or in survivorship. No inpatient rounding required. You'll work collaboratively with 2 medical oncologists and 2 APPs on-site. This is not an autonomous role supervision from medical and radiation oncologists is available.

Clinical Details:

• Setting: Outpatient oncology infusion center and clinic

• Patient Volume: per day (NP-specific)

• Support: Infusion nurses, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists

• EMR: Epic with Beacon

• Trauma Level: III

• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

• Orientation: 4-hour unpaid Epic training + orientation at hourly rate

• OT after 40 hrs/week; holidays and OT paid at 1.25x

• Medical malpractice must be included in rate
