American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring ARRT, BLS, and Level 1 Trauma and EPIC experience.
Responsibilities- Position is in a hospital cat scanner department
- Adult Level 1 Trauma patient population
- Evening shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, five days per week
- Procedures include CT angiography, 3D, MIPS, vessel analysis, volume rendering, and MPRs
- Use of EPIC EMR and PACS systems is required
- Must be able to perform IV starts for contrast administration
- Duties include proper patient positioning, optimal scan technique, radiation safety, and post-processing using reconstruction software
- Operate support equipment including independent workstation and pressure injector
- Document patient history, charge data, allergic reactions, and follow departmental workflow for scanning and data management
- Prepare patients for exams, monitor condition, and consult with radiologists as needed
- Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13 week contract
- Dress code and scrub requirements are per hospital policy
- Travel partners are not accepted
- A break in service of 6 months required after 1 year of continuous assignment before returning
- Certificate of completion from a Radiologic Technology Program or college diploma in a related field
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA) required if applicable
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Registered in Radiography (R) with ARRT required
- Registered in CT (ARRT) or Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant CT experience
- EPIC charting experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
