Account Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of insurance experience
- Demonstrated experience servicing personal insurance accounts
- Familiarity with agency workflows and insurance carrier interactions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Client-focused mindset with clear, professional communication
- Experience using AMS360 (strongly preferred)
- Insurance license not required at hire; willingness to obtain is encouraged
- Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese)
Account Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Service and manage an assigned book of personal insurance accounts
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, endorsements, policy changes, and coverage questions
- Process policy changes, certificates, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements as needed
- Review insurance policies for accuracy, coverage consistency, and compliance
- Work closely with internal service support staff for efficient back-office processing
- Communicate with insurance carriers to address policy issues and service requests
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records using AMS360
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflows and accountability
- Deliver a professional, responsive client experience aligned with service standards
