Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Clinic position requiring at least one year of oncology experience and an active OH or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in an adult outpatient oncology clinic setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Patient volume is 80-100 daily with 16 clinic rooms
- Floating is required as needed
- EPIC is used for documentation and charting
- Provide care to adult oncology patients with various diagnoses including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloproliferative disorders, and hemoglobinopathies
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- Former employees are eligible if away from the facility for at least 6 months
- All candidates must promptly complete Ohio required fingerprinting upon offer
- Requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to contract finalization
Requirements
- Active RN license in OH or a compact state required at time of consideration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- At least one year of oncology nursing experience required
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required, one from a manager or charge RN
