About The PositionData Collection: Unit Information: Respiratory Therapy Adult Location: Address: 7700 Floyd Curl Dr. San Antonio, TX 78229 Floor: Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): CVICU 34 beds; NCCU 33 beds; LRICU (ECMO) 14 beds; MICU 12 beds, MSICU 13 beds; 2South ICU 15 beds; Adult ED about 50 beds; numerous other floors 300+ beds Number of Staff 14-16 per shift Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 Supervisor/TL, 1 ED, 2 CVICU, 2 NCCU, 2 LRICU, 1 MICU, 1 MSICU, 1 2South ICU, 3-5 floors o Night Shift - same Patient Ratios 30-45 units of therapy per shift Type of equipment GE Carescape R860 ventilator, Covidien PB980 ventilator, Avea Ventilator, V60 noninvasive, Vapotherm, Blender HFNC, Vest CPT, MetaNeb, Cough Assist, Percussor CPT EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 6 months 1 year ICU experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Nebulizer therapy, airway clearance, BiPAP, ventilator, HFNC, bronch assist, ABG Best personality Fit: Team player, able to work with others, flexible REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: CRT or RRT, Texas RCP license, BLS, ACLS Floating Area(s): Voluntary to float to pediatrics Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - olive/sage scrub top, black scrub bottom, will accept all black (olive/sage hard to find at times) Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Weekends and On call(if any) At least 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule, does not have to be every other Sat/Sun Show more
