American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience for a 13-week daytime contract assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a short-term acute care, Level III trauma, teaching hospital
- Unit: Interventional Radiology
- Shifts are 3x12 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with non-consecutive days and varying days off as needed
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend
- Call required as part of the regular schedule
- Floating to like units within scope may be required
- Epic used for charting; prior experience preferred
- Scrubs are provided
- Responsibilities include assisting with interventional radiology procedures, monitoring patients, and collaborating with the care team
- All callouts for scheduled shifts must be made up as deemed necessary by the department
- First-time travelers are accepted
- No block scheduling accommodations
- Return staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as a traveler
- Travelers may only complete two consecutive assignments before a mandatory 6-month break
- Time-off requests are subject to manager discretion
- Testing and vaccinations may be required per facility policy
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Current IR Technologist credentials and applicable license required
- Experience working with acute care and trauma patients preferred
- Ability to work weekends, day shifts, and participate in call as scheduled
- Must live more than 50 miles from the main campus
- Applications must include 2 recent professional supervisor references
- Pending licenses not accepted—active credential required at time of consideration
