Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float position in Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU with strong cardiac care skills and required licensure.
Responsibilities
- Float RN position covering Med/Surg Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Care for post-cardiac catheterization and cardiac patients
- Day shift from 06:45 to 19:15
- Every other Friday and Saturday required as part of weekend coverage
- 13-week assignment
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must be capable of floating between Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU as assigned
- Candidate must have held ACLS certification in previous positions before contract consideration
- Current vaccination status may be requested during onboarding
- Local and travel candidates will be considered at the same rate
Requirements
- Active RI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry and cardiac experience
- Experience caring for post-cath and cardiac patients
- EPIC documentation experience required
