Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a valid CA license to work night shifts with floating responsibilities across multiple inpatient units.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU unit of a hospital setting
- Required to float to all inpatient units including ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg
- Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00), including every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Must have been absent for at least 1 year if previously employed or traveled at the facility
- Only one holiday request off (RTO) will be approved during the assignment
- Lab work required within 3-5 days of signing acceptance
- First time travelers are accepted
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 4 years of RN experience
- Ability to float between ICU, SDICU, Telemetry, and Med Surg inpatient units
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
