- 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am with possible 24-hour shifts
- 1.5-1.7 patients per hour average
- Level 3 trauma center
- ED staffed with 5 physicians and 3+ APPs daily
- 50,000 annual ER visits
- ATLS, PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications required
