Job DescriptionJoin a dedicated team in the Emergency Department, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The unit typically maintains a patient ratio of 4:1, with adjustments for behavioral holds. The department prides itself on its teamwork and the ability to cater to a multicultural community.
Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Utilize advanced equipment and technology for patient care.
- Participate in documentation and maintain patient records using Cerner.
- Adhere to unit-specific guidelines and patient experience standards, including AIDET and respectful behavior.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an ER setting.
- Experience in a Level 2 trauma center or high-volume emergency department preferred.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before the start date.
- ENPC certification within 90 days of hire.
