The Neurology Physician role involves directing a new Neurology Residency program, leading the ACGME accreditation process remotely initially, then transitioning to a part-time leadership and clinical practice position. This position requires over three years of relevant program director or faculty experience in an accredited neurology graduate medical education program. The role combines leadership, teaching, and clinical responsibilities in either outpatient or inpatient neurology settings.
- Program Director for a new Neurology Residency
- Phase 1: Lead the ACGME application process and site visits, which can be performed remotely through a consulting agreement. Approximately 40 work hours per month.
- Phase 2:Once program is approved and nearer to start, candidate would relocate to the Temecula area and position would transition to .4 FTE as PD, with the remainder in clinical practice, in either outpatient or inpatient practice depending on candidates interest and training.
-REQUIRED: 3+ years of current or very recent PD, APD, or Core faculty experience in an accredited neurology GME program. Also require demonstrated ability as a leader, educator, and clinician as well as recent history of scholarly activities.
