Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Telemetry Nurse with essential Epic experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac and telemetry nursing, with the ability to interpret and document cardiac rhythms consistently throughout their shifts.
Responsibilities- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients in a 16-bed unit.
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients, ensuring adherence to department expectations.
- Document patient care and any changes in health status efficiently.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
- MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE.
- A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in Cardiac/Telemetry or Med-Tele units.
- Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
- Neuro/stroke experience is highly preferred.
- Current New York nursing license, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
- Must be able to follow departmental protocols for interpreting and documenting cardiac rhythms.
- Must have reliable transportation.
