Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technician with at least 2 years of experience and ARDMS certification for a 16-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based ultrasound department setting
- 16-week assignment with a schedule of 1 eight-hour day shift and 2 sixteen-hour shifts per week
- Weekend shifts include Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM–11:30 PM
- Use of Cerner EMR system
- Must be willing to work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates who were previously employed as permanent staff at this facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- Time off requests must be made up front, as no additional requests will be considered post-offer
- Scrub or dress code requirements will be communicated at assignment onboarding
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ARDMS credential required
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
