WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Albany, NY. The weekly pay for this position is $2,400 a week.
Job Function:
- Day Shift or Night Shift.
- 3x12.
Administer prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, ensuring adherence to the "five rights" of medication administration.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and report findings in accordance with established policies and protocols.
Educate patients about upcoming surgical procedures, including preoperative and postoperative care instructions.
Record patients' medical information and vital signs, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in patient records.
Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment, such as IV pumps and cardiac monitors, interpreting and recording electronic displays to assess patient status.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in this specialty.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
