American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with RCIS certification for a 13-week assignment in an interventional radiology setting.
Responsibilities- Work in an interventional radiology unit alongside 2 technologists, 1 RN, and a physician
- Primarily day shifts, 4x10 hours with start times between 7:00 and 7:30 AM
- Weekend shifts are on-call only, estimated 5-10 hours every third weekend
- Case schedule varies based on inpatient or emergency department needs
- Staff may be required to complete on-site EPIC EMR training if no recent experience
- Travel pairs accepted, though same shift is not guaranteed
- Team consists of technologists, RN, and physician to support interventional procedures
- If selected without recent Epic experience, completion of onsite Epic review with test-out is required before scheduling
- Modules are not required unless Epic review is necessary
- Up to two weeks of RTO (time off) is typically allowed, with the expectation of making up missed time
- RCIS certification required
- ARRT R certification preferred
- Ability to obtain and provide applicable state license prior to start (license required if applicable)
- Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months strongly preferred but not required
- BLS certification accepted from non-AHA sources, including Instructor, Provider, and RQI
