Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
On-Call: 2–3 nights per week (any night of the week)

Position Overview

HumanEdge is seeking an experienced Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a hospital in Key West, Florida. The Ultrasound Tech will provide diagnostic imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients, including OB, vascular, and general ultrasound procedures, following established departmental protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, pelvic (gynecologic & obstetric), transvaginal, and small parts (thyroid, breast, scrotum) sonograms

• Conduct ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations

• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Respond to on-call imaging requests 2–3 nights per week as scheduled

Requirements

• RDMS (R) and Vascular (RVT) certification – Required

• BLS (AHA) – Required

• Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience – Required

• OB experience – Required

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited sonography program

• Strong technical and patient care skills

• Ability to work scheduled on-call nights
