RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work as a Clinical Nurse coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of patient population served
• Work with EPIC EMR system
• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), and ACLS
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with unit standards of care
• Demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization
• Communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of patient
• Must be knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care
• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking required
• Physical requirements include heavy lifting to position, push and/or transfer patients or equipment
• Exposure to infectious diseases, x-rays, and bloodborne pathogens
• Working hours are varied with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies
