This locum tenens position seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services in a rural Montana setting across inpatient and outpatient facilities. The role involves general anesthesia, regional nerve blocks, and monitored anesthesia care, with full-time coverage and on-call duties. Candidates must be board certified/eligible, hold active BLS certification, and be willing to travel between regional sites with COVID-19 vaccination required.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in a rural area near Bruner, Montana. This position offers the chance to practice in a diverse clinical environment with flexibility and ongoing need for coverage. Position Details: Start Date: January 3, 2025. Duration: Ongoing assignment. Coverage: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with call responsibilities. On-Call Shifts: Once per week and one weekend per month. Weekday on-call: 3 PM - 7 AM following scheduled cases. Weekend on-call: Friday 3 PM through Monday 7 AM. Shift Hours: Regular hours: 7 AM - 3 PM. Occasional extended or dual-location shifts may apply. Clinical Environment: Practice Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient. Locations: Primarily at two regional facilities, with occasional coverage at a nearby outpatient surgery center. Procedures and Skills: General anesthesia. Regional and epidural nerve blocks (preferred). Central line placements (preferred). Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC). Specialties Covered: General surgery and OB. Support Structure: Independent practice with no supervision or teaching responsibilities. Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible CRNA. Active BLS certification. Full-time availability preferred. COVID-19 vaccination required. Willingness to travel locally between practice sites when needed.
