Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Monroe seeks applicants for an Anesthesiology position. Must be board certified/ board eligible in Anesthesiology and eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure. Graduating Anesthesia residents are welcome to apply. This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of the Department of Anesthesia. The successful candidate will also need to have a strong commitment to an active teaching program and scholarly activities.

More than 800 students are enrolled in the degree programs at any one time. Additionally, nearly 600 residents and fellows are trained each year.
- Home to the only Level I Trauma center in the surrounding region, and one of only two in the state.
Qualifications
The applicant must meet the following:
- MD and/or DO
- Board certified/eligible in Anesthesia
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Louisiana
- A distinguished record in Anesthesia
- Outstanding skills and commensurate clinical activities
- Candidates must have a firm commitment to the education of residents and medical students
