General Manager - Spa

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management experience; spa, salon, fitness, or hospitality background preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience with proven results (membership and retail sales a plus)
  • Goal-oriented leader with strong coaching, motivation, and accountability skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and client-facing)
  • Calm under pressure with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Tech-savvy; knowledge of Zenoti or other booking/retail systems is a plus
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Massage Therapists, Estheticians, Leads, and Sales Associates
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve customer service challenges
  • Manage day-to-day spa operations, scheduling, inventory, and supply ordering
  • Drive membership, retail, and gift card sales through team motivation and coaching
  • Oversee staff recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews
  • Manage appointment book optimization to maximize revenue and therapist productivity
  • Ensure spa cleanliness, organization, and brand-standard compliance
  • Maintain accurate data entry, employee documentation, and administrative reporting
  • Support marketing efforts, including promotions, social media, and community outreach (4 events per year)
