The Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner provides care focused on work-related injuries and urgent care across multiple Bay Area clinics. They perform physical exams, oversee advanced practice providers, and handle procedures such as suturing while maintaining clear communication with employers. The role requires board certification, active California licensure, and the ability to work autonomously within a clinic setting.

Contract Length: 3 months (3/20/26 end date)
Shift Details: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p or until last patient is treated
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p or until last patient is treated - Must be available to float between 4 Bay Area centers (Concord, Brentwood, Walnut Creek & Pleasanton)
Work Details:
Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 5 days/week
EMR: All scripts
Patient Population/Age: All ages
Department Description: Diagnose and treat work-related injuries, perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for varied private companies and governmental agencies. Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. May oversee, collaborate with and supervise any advanced practice providers in the clinic. Perform in-office procedures, communicate with employers and provide medical guidance. Exhibit Orange Book characteristics including welcoming, skillful and respectful behaviors at all times. Completes all documentation in a timely and appropriate manner. Walk-in and scheduled patients
Skills Required: DOT is required by first shift. Must be comfortable to work autonomously. Must be comfortable with suturing.

License Required: Active CA license
