Orlando Health seeks a board eligible or board certified Anesthesiology Physician to join their ambulatory anesthesiology team providing anesthesia care across multiple surgery centers in the Orlando area. The role involves preoperative evaluation, intraoperative anesthesia administration, collaboration with surgical teams, supervision of certified anesthetists, and teaching responsibilities. The position offers a competitive compensation package, benefits starting day one, and a Monday to Friday schedule with no nights or weekends.
Orlando Health is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our Ambulatory Anesthesiology team for our multispecialty ASCs in the Orlando area . Join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and advanced practice anesthesia providers in delivering exceptional patient experience with safe, up to date care, while being a catalyst to expand the organization's mission and achieve its vision. The case mix ranges from Colorectal, GI, Bariatrics, Plastics, Adult & Peds ENT, Urology, Spine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Ortho etc.

- Collaborative member of anesthesiology department to work with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals
- Partnership with surgeons and administration.
- Evaluate and formulate anesthetic plan for patients undergoing surgical and/or diagnostic care
- Supervision/Medical Direction of certified anesthetists delivering anesthesia
- Personally administer anesthesia intraoperatively with continuous monitoring of vital signs and titration of anesthesia needed
- Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY ONLY
- No Call, nights, weekends or holidays.
- Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Part of the Orlando Health Medical Group. Please note that this is not a private equity group.
- Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures
- Attends and participates in departmental meetings and educational initiatives
- Teach student anesthetists, residents, fellows or other learners
- Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
- Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
- Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
- Must hold or be able to obtain active Florida medical license prior to start
- Not a J-1 sponsored position.
- Private practice and ASC experience preferred.
