Operating Room Registered Nurse - C-Section and Trauma Experience Required
LocationLocated within 50 miles of the facility.
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule4 x 10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM with a variable day off each week. Call is required once per week and one weekend every 13 weeks.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with experience in C-Sections and trauma cases, including gunshot wounds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in all phases of surgery, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
- Manage sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Respond to patient needs and provide education on recovery and post-operative care.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required; 4 years preferred.
- C-Section and trauma experience is mandatory.
- ACLS, BLS certifications required.
- CNOR certification preferred.
- Valid State or Compact License required at the time of submission.
- EPIC charting system experience is strongly preferred.
