Texas Nursing Job Details

• Location: Amarillo, TX 79106 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (08:00 – 18:00); cases may run 8am–7pm
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2120 - $2180
• Call Requirement: Weeknights (7pm–7am), Weekends (7am–7pm)
• Holiday Coverage: May be required to work 2 out of 3 holidays
• Orientation: 20 hours onsite

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Epic EMR experience within the last 6 months required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor and manage patients during procedural sedation
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and related procedures
• Scrub and circulate as needed for cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays
