Required Skills:
- Active and Unrestricted Medical License in Indiana
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
- Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience as a hospitalist or in a similar inpatient setting
- Basic Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Previous locum tenens assignment experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work weekend shifts
- Must provide current board certification and medical licensure
- Ability to travel within the region as needed
- Compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations
