This part-time position is for a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in dermatology-focused clinical trials. We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to support clinical research activities as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I). This role offers the opportunity to participate in innovative clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas, including dermatology. The position provides a flexible schedule and the chance to collaborate with experienced clinical research teams dedicated to advancing patient care and developing new therapies.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as PI or Sub-Investigator for assigned dermatology-focused clinical trials.
Conduct participant assessments, psychiatric evaluations, and medical examinations.
Determine participant eligibility according to study protocols.
Monitor patient safety, including oversight of adverse events and clinical status.
Review, approve, and sign study-related documents in accordance with protocol, regulatory standards, and GCP guidelines.
Partner with study coordinators, nurses, and other research staff to ensure high-quality trial execution.
Participate in protocol training sessions and maintain adherence to all study requirements.
MD or DO with an active medical license in the state of practice.
Board certification in Psychiatry is required.
The Psychiatrist must own and operate a private practice. (Required)
Prior clinical research experience is preferred; however, training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a research setting.
Competitive hourly rate: $100 - $400 based on specialty and experience.
