A health system in northern Illinois is seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Otolaryngologists to join a busy community-based practice in Rockford, offering extensive audiology services and modern surgical facilities. The role includes inpatient pediatric care, quaternary support from a major children’s hospital, and academic opportunities with the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Position Overview Health system in northern Illinois seeks BE/BC Otolaryngologists to join a busy community-based practice in Rockford, Illinois. The practice benefits from a built-in referral base from over 100 primary care providers within a large medical group of more than 270 employed providers. Practice Details Full-service audiology onsite, including 3 AuDs, hearing aid center, newborn screening, CAP testing, and balance/vertigo testing. 15 modern surgical suites with block scheduling at the local hospital. 10-bed inpatient pediatric unit with pediatric hospitalist support in the womens and childrens hospital. Quaternary support from a major childrens hospital in Madison, WI. 12-county regional referral area across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Academic appointment and teaching opportunities with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. APP support for streamlined workflow and patient management. Candidate Requirements MD or DO. Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain prior to start. Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to or upon hire. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology; board certification required within 5 years of eligibility. Current CPR certification preferred.
