About the FacilityA large, established, multispecialty facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in New Jersey.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe provider will cover Labor and Delivery two days per week, with anticipated procedures including vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, D&C, and laparoscopy or laparotomy. The schedule consists of 24 hours per week, worked as two 12-hour sessions on Monday from 7pm-7am and Thursday from 7pm-7am. This role does not require call. The expected patient load is 3-5 deliveries per shift, with 0-1 Cesarean deliveries. The position requires a board-certified provider. There is no additional support staff, but the provider will work alongside 3 residents and 1 midwife, with residents and midwives also involved in patient care.
